Terms of Service

Effective October 29, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Applymark ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Applymark, the Applymark website or the Applymark Autopilot browser extension (together, the "Service"), you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Applymark does

Applymark helps you look for jobs. It finds job listings, scores how well they match your resume, writes tailored resumes and cover letters with AI, tracks your applications and, if you choose, uses the Autopilot extension to fill in and submit applications for you. Job listings come from third parties such as Adzuna and employers' own sites. We don't control those listings or sites and can't promise that a job is available, accurate or still open.

We don't guarantee results. Applymark can help you apply faster, but we can't promise interviews, offers or any particular outcome.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to work in your country. You're responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since that's how you sign in.

3. Your content and the AI

You keep ownership of everything you upload or type in, like your resume, cover letter and application answers. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI provider that writes your tailored documents and answers.

AI-written content can contain mistakes. Applymark is designed to only reword what's already in your resume, but you're responsible for checking that everything submitted in your name is true and accurate. Don't use the Service to misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity.

4. Autopilot

When you start Autopilot, you're asking it to act for you. That means:

• It opens jobs from your apply queue, fills in forms using your profile and documents, and submits them.
• Applications it submits are your applications, and you're responsible for them.
• It pauses when a site needs you, like a sign-in, a "verify you're human" check or a question it isn't sure about. It never tries to get around those checks or create accounts for you.
• Some employers and job sites have their own rules about automated tools. You're responsible for following the terms of the sites you apply on.
• You can stop Autopilot at any time, and we can't undo an application once it's submitted.

5. Plans, free trial and billing

The Free plan includes 5 job searches, 3 tailored applications and 3 Autopilot applications each month. Pro costs $19/month or $45 every 3 months, plus any taxes, and includes higher limits shown on our pricing page. Monthly limits reset on the 1st of each month and unused amounts don't carry over.

Free trial and automatic renewal. New Pro subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. You need to add a payment card to start it. When the trial ends, your card is charged automatically for the plan you chose, and your subscription then renews automatically every billing period until you cancel. One trial per person.

Cancelling. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Manage billing. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel after that, you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds. Payments aren't refundable for partly used billing periods, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us at hello@applymark.io and we'll look into it.

We may change our prices. If we do, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing period. You can cancel before then.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use the Service for anyone but yourself, or share or resell your account;
• submit false information or apply in someone else's name;
• try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the Service, or get around its limits;
• use it to send spam or for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That cancels any subscription and deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may stop offering the Service or close an account with notice, and if we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, always available, or that job listings, match scores or AI content are accurate.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost job opportunities, lost income or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that's more. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
